Thanks for the replies, reference my car. Unfortunately I have been
back in the UK and have not had a chance to reply to you all until
now. I have posted some photos on the site. I need info to ensure
that I am restoring a 100% authentic car. For instance the keen eyed
amongst you may notice the front bumper has a thick rubber strip
along its length and the rear has only black tape. Which is authentic?
I have hit a problem with the underside, inner wheel arches to floor
pan and many other areas involving rust and indeed huge holes which
are taking an eternity to cut out and replace with good metal but
with perseverance I hope to be driving the car soon.
