Hello.I am a new member today.I am having trouble with
brakes.I've adjusted the brakes after having put on braided
stainless steel brake hoses.I get only half pedal, but it is firm.I
have adjusted the brakes and bled them twice.I seem to be losing
fluid somewhere, but can't discover where the leak is.The wheel
cylinders seem to be O.K.The master cylinder doesn't seem to be
leaking. The brake hoses I installed are not leaking. There is a small
steel or aluminum line very near the gas pedal. Is this a brake fluid
line? Any Super lovers out there have any suggestions? Any advice
would be deeply appreciated.Thanks,Jim.P.S. I own a 1972 Superbeetle
with 1600DP motor named Lucille.Happy fweeming!
