I have just finished rebuilding a 1302LS cabriolet, which I imported
to the UK from Germany 9 years ago, which my wife drove for about
45,000 miles before the water leak by her feet became too much.

This was a complete body off restoration, and all mechanical bits are
rebuilt/new and bodywork similar.

My question is about the front ride height, I think it is riding too
high.
Can anyone measure the gap between the top of the front tires and the
bottom of the wing arch, and tell me what they get.

Simple method, how many fingers on one hand can you slide into the
gap?

Different tyres, different specs for different countries etc, but a
starting point will be good.
