I just purchased a replacement steering wheel for my 71 super. The
current one is in sad shape (I think it original)

The replacement (a swap meet purchase for $10.00) is in really nice
condition, but is slightly different. See my photo album on this

My existing horn has a small green jumper wire from the cancelling
ring
area and connects to the chrome horn ring. The old wheel has a hole
forthat jumper. The new wheel has no hole for that wire, so I guess
the horn connects differently?

The new wheel physically mounts - the splines are all the same.

My turn signals don't cancel either, so I know I need a new canceling
ring - I inspected the old one, and can see it broken up.

My existing horn ring installs just fine (all the holes line up)

So....what year do you think this wheel is from, and what type of
cancelling ring do I need to purchase/look for to allow me to install
the wheel on the 71 super and have an operating horn?

I can take/post more pictures if necessary.

condition, do not want to keep or even rehab)

my silver horn ring: 113 951 531 F (great condition and I want to
keep)

So can I tell whoever I buy from that I have a 64-65 steering wheel,
and I'll get the right parts for the cancelling and horn?
