Yes hood and wings/fenders will fit. The panels
unique to the convertible include – inner and outer door skins, rear quarter
panels heater channel interiors, windscreen surround, tunnel and door opening fillets
and of course those big strengtheners under the heater channel closing panels.

Replacement Issues!
Hello, fine fellow-Beetle owners! I have a question, and I am hoping
you can help me. We have a 1972 Convertible which is in need of a new
hood, fenders, tires, and dashboard. I have the opportunity to
purchase a 1972 Super Beetle, not-Convertible (which I would think
makes it a sedan?), for parts.
Currently, the Convertible has the a set of wide fenders with Square
head and tail-lamps, and wider tires. I know the fenders and wheels
from the potential parts car will work, but will the dash? And most
importantly, will hood?
