Thanks for helping! We were told that the Convertibles were "wider"
than the Sedans, so we weren't quite sure what that meant. What about
the dash pad? Will that swap out as well?

Everything from the same year should fit, I too have a ' 72 Super beetle , with the wide fender, and square headlights, so it should fit . Jason Palladino...

Dash pads swap - Cabriolets are not wider, in fact the rear seat is narrower and the bit you lean against and sit on are special to the car - so do not throw...

Probably - I am not certain because a '71 Super can define different cars in different markets in the world. So a 71 Super in the US does not mean the same as...
