Dear all, not sure if this is that relevant ..... although I have
seen lots of you there...
There is currently a movement to stop the closure of Sophia Gardens
swimming pool. I don't really know much about it but it seems that
when the sports village opens Sophia Gardens Pool will be closed down.
Obviously this is annoying because lots of people use the centre and
it is part of the local 'community' etc. However I also think it is a
shame to see yet another local amenity lost in favour of a big centre
that you need to drive to etc.
There seem to be a few petitions around in the changing rooms that
you can sign or there is a customer charter
( http://www.welsh-institute- sport.co. uk/content/ public/content/

with a form to fill out and hand in.... maybe this has to be logged
and responded to? I believe there is a meeting in September so
perhaps it would be good to do it before then?
Well anyway sorry to bother you if it isn't your thing but if you
know people that would mind about this pass it on!
Best wishes
jennie
