Just found this group last week.
My "nickname" was "Stepy" and I served in 7 platoon C company from
1973 to 1976. Prior to joining the battalion I was a junior soldier (do they
still have such things) @ JTR Rhyl.
Some of the names I see in messages sound familiar but my memory has
become somewhat vague over the years.

That said names that do spring readily to mind include: - Paul Williamson,
Rob McGill, Steve Rouse, Kev Johnson, Ox Millwood, Trev. Delph, Denise
Gilbey, Jimmy Hume, Davy Jones, Jed Stone, Bill Dowling, Bob Proudman
etc. etc.

Anyhow Just want to pass-on my best wishes to anyone who new me and
to all who served in the Pompadours.
