This group is for anything and everything related to the Class 507 and 508 EMUs which operate around Merseyside and London. We aim to keep up to date with the latest changes and incidents affecting the fleet. Anything from sightings to photos is more than welcome.

Discussion of the three 'lines' of the Merseyrail network is relevant: the Northern Line (for Southport, Kirkby, Ormskirk and Hunts Cross); the Wirral Line (for New Brighton, West Kirby, Ellesmere Port and Chester) and the City Line (for Wigan North Western, Earlestown, Warrington Central and beyond). Also on-topic is gen, news, questions and sightings on the 'cousin' Class 313, 314 and 315 EMUs of London and Scotland, and the Northern Rail-operated DMUs working the City Line.

Picture: four sets were given unique promotional liveries for Liverpool's 2008 European Capital of Culture status, all of which have survived well into 2009. Now the sole survivor, however, 507033 is seen at Kirkdale coupled with 507005 on an afternoon service to Ormskirk on Saturday 24/10/09.
