Hello Terry,

No, it has a substantial piece of turned brass tube, which gives the curved
flange and then a thinner piece tightly fitted for the smoke box wrapper and
no boiler bands. It does have high quality buffers but the etched rods and
frames are brass rather than the nickel silver used in the Fourtrack
version. I have started it and hope to continue work next week so will be
updating the entry for it on my website as I go.

The Fourtrack version of the boiler is different again, see the entry for
the N9 on my website.

Fourtrack version N9 I built some time ago. This one is not labelled as an
'07' kit though. Anybody know when the name change occurred, it would be
interesting to know how old this kit is.

07 kits were bought many years ago by George Norton who passed them on to
London Road. When John Redrup of London Road stopped 7mm kits they went to
Fourtrack and now I believe are with Gladiator.

Depending on the kit you have, I would think that it may have changed
quite
a lot. Not like some we have discussed on this group.
