Taxus in a Leopard exhibit

We are considering an Amur Leopard exhibit in a space with big old dying Taxus.  It has great branching structure for a cat to climb on, but there are toxicity concerns.  Does anyone have experience or good info. on this?  Since the tree would be dead I wonder if a cat would consume enough dry bark to be in danger?  Thanks-
