I have a worm bin that I take to schools, fairs etc.   It is very popular as the kids dig through it looking for worms,  they mist them with water and can place their apple core, banana peel, etc. in it.  It is portable, low maintenance and full of lessons.   I am passionate about my worm bin.  There is a lot of great information out there with activities for kids.
