The Nashville Zoo's new seven acre elephant habitat opened this past April with three female African elephants.
Zoo Director Rick Schwartz worked with Mark McCollow Assoc. and Zoo Horticulture Consulting & Design to create this piece of African savanna in central Tennessee.
