Is there anyone who would be able to positively identify a species of Costus?  Maybe I could mail you a sample?  We have a species growing in one of our exhibits but I’m not sure which one it is.   I saw Costus speciosus was listed on the most recent AZH browse survey.  I don’t think ours is Costus speciosus, but if it is closely related I’d like to be able to give it to the keepers for the animals rather than throw it out.
