Does anyone know if Privet is toxic to birds?? And if it is, is it
species specific or the entire genus?? We are having some
difficulties getting a straight answer. Any help would be appreciated!

Do you mean Ligustrum sp.? In the U.S., it's definitely not toxic and that has caused all kinds of ecological problems with invasive privets taking over...
