I received this recently. Does anyone have a recollection of this article or first hand knowledge that could help our friend at the Beardsley Zoo?

Thanks

Subject: Plants toxic to Ocelot kittens

Hi David,

I tried to find the article from the AZH newsletter (a few years back) about a plant that was toxic to Ocelot kittens.  I could not find the article on the AZH website.  The article mentioned the plant was in an exhibit with adult Ocelots that rarely chewed the plants; then, when kittens were born, the kittens chewed a lot of things in the exhibit and died due to ingesting one of the plants.  Could you help me locate the article?  We have a pair of Brazilian Ocelots and are hoping for successful breeding soon.  I would appreciate any help or suggestions you could give me.

            Thank you,

                        Jeanne Yuckienuz

I'm sure the plant in question was Epipremnum aureum or Scindapsus aureus or Pothos. Ever since reading the article, I make sure I keep the Pothos trimmed...
