Hey everyone.
I'm Tom, a new member, working at the Little Rock Zoo. I probably met
some of you at the AZH conference in Tulsa.
I'm working on a proposal for a carnivorous plants exhibit, and I'd
like to know of other zoos and botanical gardens that have such an
exhibit. We're thinking in terms of an outdoor exhibit (Zone 7b) in a
sunny area of the zoo, with pitcher plants, Venus' fly traps and
sundews. We're thinking of having scheduled feedings during the growing
season where the public could observe the process of carnivory. Any
suggestions, links or anecdotes would be appreciated.
