RE: [AZH] securing pothos gigantum to walls

How about attaching some type of clamp,  hook or large upright branch next to the primary vines and attaching the vines with ties.   There is the new Velcro tie material that is marketed for garden use.

You are probably all ready doing this, but also try to water the wall down everyday to encourage strong root adhesion to the wall.

Subject: [AZH] securing pothos gigantum to walls

Does anyone know of a way to keep Pothos secured to concrete walls?
Either culturally or mechanically. I have great luck getting them up
the walls but their weight pulls them down and I have to start over. I
get lots of cuttings this way but would rather they stay put

Pothos is a clinger not a twiner. I'd look for a solution in sealing the concrete (to provide a better clinging surface and stop the pH issue) and keeping its...

Try the Jakob Trellis system. We are looking into installing these in our new gardens. http://www.arcat.com/arcatcos/cos42/arc42721.html Sarada Krishnan ...

I think the problem is that it's just the juvenile form that's the clinger. Once the leaves get huge and the plant goes into its mature phase, it wants to...

I have tried 2 small eye-bolts on both sides with black or tan rubber coated copper wire and it relieved the weight pressure. Or pin the stem with a piece of...
