Hi, thanks so much for the offer. These pants and vests would be very useful to the project. You are the first person to reply to my post on Adorable Babies. If you could email me details of where you are then I can arrange collection or you might want to drop them off.
Locally the project has really touched people and I am so pleased that people want to help.
Alyson

I'm clearing out now, plus various other things. It'd be nice for
them to go somewhere useful!

Hi Everyone and thanks to Amy who was my first ebaby contributor.
I am the South Wales Area co-ordinator with 'The Baby Pack Project'
and I have a wonderful group of around forty people knitting and
sewing for me presently..

There is a clinic in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa where poverty
forces new mums to take their babies home in newspaper. We are trying
to get enough good quality used baby clothing to make up a layette
pack for each new mother.

What we aim to provide:

A vest [0-3mths]
A babygro[0-3mths]
A bib
A jumper/sweater/cardigan [0-3 mths, though i have my 'helping hands
knitters' busy on these]
A Cloth Nappy with pants and a pin.
A little hat and booties or socks [0-3mths]
A blanket/Cot Sheet [flanelette sheets can be made into receiving
blankets or cot sheets]
A bar of baby soap
a small knitted toy.

The nappy is proving the biggest problem as these are rarely donated
but much needed. If you can help I would love to hear from you. Cash
donations are very welcome as shipping is expensive. Knitting wool is
very useful too. Any suggestions you might have on helping the
project would be greatfully received.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hiya I have to offer a moses basket with the mattress, matress sheets
and a fleecy blanket. The moses basket is quite wide.

A blue gro bag with trains on, says age 18 - 36 months but you can put
a younger baby in them.

A stunning all in one suite with removable mittons and bootees, Age 6 -
9 months ans has a moose on the front. I really wanted to keep this as
its lovely but by the time my babies 6 months it will be summer again.

Hope someone will be able to take these off my hands instead of
throwing them out.

Many Thanks Amy

These are not in as new condition, but you can never have too many
play socks. Especially in this dreadful weather.

Collection only.

I just want to say hiya and welcome to all of my new members. Look
forward to see what you all have to offer.

And remember you can put Wanted, Offered and whatever else you like to
post on my group.

You can post your items if you want if you don't live in the area that
the items are being offered.

Many Thanks
Amy
