Biographies of the Shayukh:

SHAYKH SA’AD PETERS AL – ’ATTAS
Shaykh Sa'ad al-Attas graduated from the Sharia institute run by the Tahdhib wa Ta`lim endowment in Damascus, Syria. He was in the four year accelerated program where he studied amongst other subjects, Arabic, tajwid, tafsir,Hadith, 'Aqidah, Fiqh (Shafi`i and some comparative), Usul al-Fiqh, Sira and Mantiq.
A Yemeni by origin and a grandson of the Prophet (Sallal Laahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam). He currently resides with his family in Keighley, where he is a resident scholar at the Abu Zahra Foundation.

SHAYKH ALLAMA MUHAMMAD YAZDANI AL MISBAHI

Shaykh Muhammad Yazdani al Misbahi is a Hanafi Faqih who hails from a scholarly family from the province of Utter Pradesh, India. The Shaykh received initial teaching in the Classical Islamic Sciences from his father, Imam Muhammad Ismail Misbahi in his home town of Rochdale, UK and then continued his studies at Jamia-Al-Karam under the guidance of Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada. After his studies at Jamia-Al-Karam, the Shaykh went on to graduate from the well-known Orthodox Sunni Institution recognized throughout India, Al-Jamia'tul-Ashrafia, Mubarakpur, U.P. The Shaykh studied Fiqh, Seerah, Usul al Fiqh, Hadith and other Islamic Sciences at Al-Jamia'tul-Ashrafia and received various Ijaza (Orthodox Certificates) from the great respected Ulema of Al-Jamia'tul-Ashrafia . The Muhaddith of India, Sharah e Bukhari Mufti Sharif ul Haq Amjadi (RA) http://muslims.ws/hazrat_allama_mufti_shariful_haq.htm paid special attention to the development of Shaykh Muhammad Yazdani during his stay at Al-Jamia'tul-Ashrafia.

The Shaykh has also studied and graduated from the renowned Jamia of the Muslim world, Jamia Al Azhar in Cairo and the University of Alexandria, Egypt. The Shaykh has also graduated with a B.SC in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Manchester, a MA degree in Islamic Studies from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) University of London, and a LLB in Law from the University of Manchester and a PGCE in teaching.

Shaykh Muhammad al Yazdani is currently an Imam and teacher of the Islamic Sciences at the Brent Mosque and Islamic Centre, London. The Shaykh also teaches Arabic, Fiqh, Hadith, Aqidah and other Sciences in the UK.

SHAYKH MUNAWWAR ATEEQ RIZVI


Shaykh Munawwar Ateeq Rizvi is a young Hanafi Faqih based in Birmingham who hails from a scholastic family from Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. Shaykh Munawwar studied the primary Islamic Sciences from his father the noble scholar, Shaykh Abdullah Ateeq Rizvi and then went on to study the traditional Dars e Nizami under the guidance of Shaykh Rasul Baksh Saeedi at the Sultan Bahu Trust, Birmingham. After graduating from the Sultan Bahu Trust the Shaykh went on to pursue his studies in Hanafi Fiqh and the Islamic Sciences with the leading and renowned Ulama of Damascus, Syria for several years. The Shaykh is currently residing in Birmingham and is continuing his studies under the guidance of Mufti Yaar Muhammad and other Ulama and is also involved in conducting and teaching the Islamic Sciences at the Sultan Bahu Trust.

SHAYKH GUL MUHAMMAD

Shaykh Gul Muhammad is a graduate of Jamia al Karam, Dar ul Uloom Muhammadiyya Ghousia and the University of Staffordshire. Shaykh Gul has also studied the Science of Hadith at Jamia Al Azhar, Egypt.

Gul Muhammad is currently a teacher of Arabic Language on the Dars e Nizami course at Jamia al Karam and is also the Secretary General of the British Muslim Forum http://www.britishmuslimforum.org.
