Fighters of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance Movement Hezbollah repelled attempts of the Zionist regime to land commandos in a dawn raid in Soor.
A large group of helicopters of the regime had roared over Soor before dawn, spraying all the routes leading into the city with machine gunfire.
A Zionist helicopter landed at Jall al-Bahr, an area of orchards at Soor's northern entrance and then fell victim to a Hezbollah ambush.
"A member of the commando group was killed and three others wounded," Hezbollah announced.
The bungled operation was preceded by intense bombardments of dozens of villages south and east of Soor.
