Biographies of the Shayukh:
SHAYKH SA’AD PETERS AL – ’ATTAS Shaykh Sa'ad al-Attas graduated from the Sharia institute run by the Tahdhib wa Ta`lim endowment in Damascus, Syria. He was in the four year accelerated program where he studied amongst other subjects, Arabic, tajwid, tafsir,Hadith, 'Aqidah, Fiqh (Shafi`i and some comparative), Usul al-Fiqh, Sira and Mantiq. A Yemeni by origin and a grandson of the Prophet (Sallal Laahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam). He currently resides with his family in
Keighley, where he is a resident scholar at the Abu Zahra Foundation.
SHAYKH ALLAMA MUHAMMAD YAZDANI AL MISBAHI
Shaykh Muhammad Yazdani al Misbahi is a Hanafi Faqih who hails from a scholarly family from the province of Utter Pradesh, India. The Shaykh received initial teaching in the Classical Islamic Sciences from his father, Imam Muhammad Ismail Misbahi in his home town of Rochdale, UK and then continued his studies at Jamia-Al-Karam under the guidance of Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada. After his studies at Jamia-Al-Karam, the Shaykh went on to graduate from the well-known Orthodox Sunni Institution recognized throughout India, Al-Jamia'tul-Ashrafia, Mubarakpur, U.P. The Shaykh studied Fiqh, Seerah, Usul al Fiqh, Hadith and other Islamic Sciences at Al-Jamia'tul-Ashrafia and received various Ijaza (Orthodox Certificates) from the great respected Ulema of Al-Jamia'tul-Ashrafia . The Muhaddith of India, Sharah e Bukhari
Mufti Sharif ul Haq Amjadi (RA) http://muslims.ws/hazrat_allama_mufti_shariful_haq.htm paid special attention to the development of Shaykh Muhammad Yazdani during his stay at Al-Jamia'tul-Ashrafia.
The Shaykh has also studied and graduated from the renowned Jamia of the Muslim world, Jamia Al Azhar in Cairo and the University of Alexandria, Egypt. The Shaykh has also graduated with a B.SC in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Manchester, a MA degree in Islamic Studies from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) University of London, and a LLB in Law from the University of Manchester and a PGCE in teaching.
Shaykh Muhammad al Yazdani is currently an Imam and teacher of the Islamic Sciences at the Brent Mosque and Islamic Centre, London. The Shaykh also teaches Arabic, Fiqh, Hadith, Aqidah and other Sciences in the UK.

MUNAWWAR ATEEQ RIZVI
Shaykh Munawwar Ateeq Rizvi is a young Hanafi Faqih based in Birmingham who hails from a scholastic family from Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. Shaykh Munawwar studied the primary Islamic Sciences from his father the noble scholar, Shaykh Abdullah Ateeq Rizvi and then went on to study the traditional Dars e Nizami under the guidance of Shaykh Rasul Baksh Saeedi at the Sultan Bahu Trust, Birmingham. After graduating from the Sultan Bahu Trust the Shaykh went on to pursue his studies in Hanafi Fiqh and the Islamic Sciences with the leading and renowned Ulama of Damascus, Syria for several years. The Shaykh is currently residing in Birmingham and is continuing his studies under the guidance of Mufti Yaar Muhammad and other Ulama and is also involved in conducting and teaching the Islamic Sciences at the Sultan Bahu Trust.
SHAYKH GUL MUHAMMAD
Shaykh Gul Muhammad is a graduate of Jamia al Karam, Dar ul
Uloom Muhammadiyya Ghousia and the University of Staffordshire. Shaykh Gul has also studied the Science of Hadith at Jamia Al Azhar, Egypt.
Gul Muhammad is currently a teacher of Arabic Language on the Dars e Nizami course at Jamia al Karam and is also the Secretary General of the British Muslim Forum http://www.britishmuslimforum.org.

I have just learned that the world wide grand shaykh of the Sammania
order, Grand Shaykh, Professor Hasan Qaribullah Dean of Umm Durman
Islamic University, Sudan passed away last Thursday.
He had been in a coma for some time, our own dear Shaykh Muhammad bin
Yahya Hafidhahullah is in Sudan, I don't know if he got there in time
for the Janazah.
We will keep you updated Inshallah

Shaykh Muhammad bin Yahya al Ninowy may Allah preserve him.
Shaykh Muhammad Yahya is the name of a Wahhabi Yazidi Khariji from
Yemen and people may become confused.

Sunday 27th March at the Bridgewater Hall Manchester UK.
International as well as national scholars will be at the convention,

The city of Atlanta is blessed by the presence of Sayyid Sheikh Muhammad ibn
Yahya. Sadly the cities Muslims are heavily influenced by local Muslim
politics and may not actually understand who we have amongst us.
We hope Sheikh Muhammad ibn Yahya will have a series of Deen Intensives
throughout the coming months, especially the summer months when the students
are on break. The youth (and their parents) are in great need of Ta'limud
Deen from a truly traditional Islamic scholar of his calibre.
May Allahu ta 'ala protect the Sheikh from the waswas of shaytan and the
shayateen. May Allahu ta 'ala keep him among us here in the Metro-Atlanta
area. Amen

Sayyidina Ali (kr) said, "Loving the scholars is a form of worship."
An Arab poet once said, "Be like the men of Allah, for you are not
like them but in the mere resemblance of them lies a great success."
Verily the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets.
The family of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam),
Muslim Scholars, Hadeeth Scientists, and the entire Muslim Ummah have
lost one of its great scholars, the honorable and learned scholar of
Islam, an heir of the Prophets, the Hadeeth specialist, the Bukhari
of this era, head of the Supreme Council of Scholars of Tangier in
Morocco, The Grand Mufti, The Waliyy of Allah, The Faqeeh, Al-Usuli,
the Linguist, the Muffasser, Al-Hafidh Sayyed Ibrahim bin Muhammad
bin Siddiq bin Ahmad Al-Ghumari Al-Hasani (Rahimahu Allah).
Brief Biography** of Al Hafidh Assayyed Ibrahim Al-Ghumari (Rahimahu
Allah):
From his father's side, Sayyed Ibrahim (ra) is a direct
descendant of
the noble Prophet Muhammad (saw), thorough Al-Hasan (rd), son of Ali
(kr) and the Lady Fatima (rd).
On his mother's side, he is a direct descendant of the great
scholar,
Ahmad Ibn Ajiba (ra). Ibn Ajiba (ra) is known for his wide knowledge
and application of it, he is a Shareef from Imam Hasan's family. May
Allah bless their souls.
Sayyed Ibrahim (ra) memorized the entire Quran from a very young age,
and mastered nearly all the Islamic Sciences at the feet of his noble
and blessed father and brothers; along with other great scholars of
Morocco. It was in Fes, Morocco, that Sayyed Ibrahim (ra) graduated
from the Kairoiuin University.
Sayyed Ibrahim is a son to the Imam of his time Sidi Muhammad bin
Assidiq, who was the most globally known Hadeeth Scholar on earth in
the late 1800's and mid 1900's. Sidi Muhammad had six children, all
of which are authority in the science of Hadeeth, and are the flag
bearers of Ahlus Sunnah in the world. All of them passed away, except
Sidi Hasan, may Allah protect him and guide us to benefit from his
vast knowledge.
Al-Hafidh As-Sayyed Ibrahim was one of the leading Hadeeth
specialists in Morocco, serving for a long time as the Imam of the
Jamia Masjid in Tangiers. He also headed the Supreme Council of
scholars there.
Amongst the teachers he studied with were:
Ø His blessed and noble father, the Hafidh Al-Hadeeth, one
of
the greatest scholars of his time, As-Sayyed Muhammad bin Siddiq bin
Ahmad Al-Ghumari (ra).
Ø His blessed and noble brother, the Hafidh Al-Hadeeth, the
light of the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah, As-Sayyed Ahmad bin Muhammad
bin Siddiq bin Ahmad Al-Ghumari (ra).
Ø His blessed and noble brother, the Hafidh Al-Hadeeth, a
diamond from Allah, a sign from Allah, the light of the west and
east, As-Sayyed Abd-Allah bin Muhammad bin Siddiq bin Ahmad Al-
Ghumari (ra).
Ø His blessed and noble brother, the great authority in
Hadeeth, As-Sayyed Zamzamy bin Muhammad bin Siddiq bin Ahmad Al-
Ghumari (ra).
Ø His blessed and noble brother, the great scholar of
Hadeeth,
Sayyed Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad bin Siddiq bin Ahmad Al-Ghumari (ra).
Ø His blessed and noble brother, a jewel from Allah, the
great
Hadeeth scholar, Hafidh Sayyed Hasan bin Muhammad bin Siddiq bin
Ahmad Al-Ghumari Hafidahu- Allah; May Allah preserve him and grant
him a long and healthier life Ameen, Thuma Ameen.
Above are the main teachers of Sayyed Ibrahim (ra). There are
literally 100's of scholars where Sayyed Al-Hafedh Ibrahim studied,
and he, Radiyallahu Anhu, gave permissions (Ijaza) to many leading
Hadeeth authorities in the world to transmit Hadeeth through him.
Sayyed Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Ninowy Al-Husayni recounts his last
visit to Sayyed Ibrahim, "when I was at his house last year, his
health was deteriorating rapidly and he had a hard time even talking.
yet he, Radiyallahu Anhu, would not let me carry his groceries, and
often insisted on me getting married. Everytime I asked him, may
Allah bless his soul, Sidi is there anything you want? he always
replied: make du'a for me. Every second I spent with Sidi Ibrahim,
Sidi Abd-Allah will be deeply missed."
May Allah grant Shaykh wa Sayyidi Ibrahim (ra) the highest rank in
paradise, and assemble him and us with him at the basin of his
grandfather The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam). May
Allah (swt) illuminate his grave with the perfumes and flowers of
paradise, and may Allah (swt) give us all patience at this time of
distress.
