Dear Instructor,
In AIWa we have many instructors who have expertise in differing
aspects other than that of Wado Karate.
It is intended that we should allow these qualities to be expressed
in a training course.
In an appeal to create funds for the impending `affiliations &
insurances' that are required for 2006, AIWa intends to run a
`Budo
Course' for all its members.
Depending on how many instructors can volunteer their time would
depend on how long the course would run. It is hoped that we can run
it as a `Budo Day Course' (6 hours) and each instructor can
contribute at least one hour on the course. Obviously we could run
this course on a `pick & mix' session if we can get a large
enough
response from instructors. If the response is low we would create a
shorter course to accommodate. However, the important thing remains
that we must try and raise as much for the funds as possible.
Already in the Instructor line-up we have; David Holtom 5th Dan
(teaching Tai-Jutsu), Gary Swift 7th Dan (Northern Shaolin Mantis).
David Holtom 5th Dan will be travelling over from France especially
to demonstrate and teach his skill of Tai-Jutsu. In fact it is
through him that the idea of this course has been `hatched'.
Can you afford some free time for AIWa and contribute something (it
does not have to be Martial-art orientated, everything will be
considered)? If so, please contact me as soon as possible so we can
start making arrangements for date, time, and the booking of the
Sports Centre.
I am hoping that this course can be run from the Forest School
Sports Centre (Horsham), in which case we would need the continued
assistance and support of Gordon Hoare Tashi.
Many thanks, in anticipation.
Gary E Swift (7th Dan) Saiko-Shihan.
