Karate England Good Practice & Child Protection Workshop.   Message List

To find out more about how your Association/Federation can be more
aware of Child Protection Policies, Whistle-blowing Policy and Duty
of Care, Karate England are running a series of workshops as
follows: Child Protection Courses available: Saturday 10th June 2006
2-5pm at the Suites Hotel, Ribblers Lane, Knowsley, Prescott,
Liverpool. L34 9HA. Sunday 11th June 2006 11am-2pm at The Met, King
Street, Leeds. LS1 2HQ. Saturday 17th June 2006 10am-1pm and 2-5pm
at City of Wolverhampton College, Wellington Road Campus, Bilston.
WV14 6BT. Sunday 18th June 2006 11am-2pm at the Holiday Inn, Bristol
Filton, Filton Road, Hambrook, Bristol. BS16 1QX. Saturday 1st July
2006 2-5pm at the Hilton Hotel, Dartford Masthead Close, Crossways
Business Park, Dartford, Kent. DA2 6DF. These Workshops will be
certified and will be run by Les Cutting, the Child Protection
Officer for Karate England and who is a recognised Sport Coach UK
Instructor. Due to limited spaces (22), each Workshop will be open
to the 'nominated' Child Protection Officer only. A full pack of
Workshop resources will be distributed on the day. Refreshments will
be available upon arrival. THERE IS NO CHARGE for attending a
Workshop. Please return the 'acknowledgement slip' completed to:
Karate England, Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, Nr Marlow,
Buckinghamshire. SL7 1RT. This slip must be in by Monday 8th May
2006. For your copy of a 'Nomination of Association Child protection
Officer' and a 'Child Protection Course Application' form, please
