Dear Colleague,

It is with regret that I must inform the membership of the recent
passing of K. Sugiura (8th Dan) Sensei.

At present I have no details that I can pass on to you. However, there
will be an official announcement, and letter of condolence, sent out
in the very near future.

All I can say at this present time is that, on behalf of the Alliance
of International Wado-ryu, I would like to give my deepest respects,
sympathies and condolences to his family and also to Sakagami Sensei
for this tragic and sudden news. Our hearts and thoughts are with you
all.
