I would like to express my congratulations and thanks to all those who took part. I felt that the standard of Kata was most impressive, even from the many little ones (who obviously worked hard in the build up prior to the event).

My special thanks to Sensei Paul Elliott 6th Dan, who worked very hard trying to get things organised and arranged prior to the event – additionally, trying to get his head round the nightmare of the late entries.

Thanks to all the Judges who helped out. Also to those 'dragged in' at the last minute to fill in the holes.

The Area Administration was 'spot on', so many thanks and congratulations to you for your hard work.

Thanks to all the parents & helpers who helped out with all the administration and booking in.

Personally, I thought the event ran very smoothly and with minimal amount of hiccoughs.

Competitors, who did not receive their medals, and/or certificates, will have them forwarded to you within the week or so.

Finally, a thought for all the competitors. In my eyes, even though many of you didn't win the medal, you were all winners!

GE Swift.
