THE BOARD REGRETS TO INFORM ITS MEMBERS THAT DUE TO ITS DIRE
FINANCIAL POSITION IT HAS TODAY STOPPED TRADING AND CALLED IN
BEGBIES TRAYNOR (CORPORATE RESCUE AND RECOVERY) TO ADVISE ON THE
LIQUIDATION OF KARATE ENGLAND (2005) LIMITED. WE WILL DO ALL WE CAN
TO MITIGATE THE EFFECT OF THIS SITUATION ON MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS AND
THEIR MEMBERS AND WILL MAKE A FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENT SOON.

Further Update - 7pm - Wednesday 8th November 2006

The Board would like to inform it's members that following today's
Statement (see above) placed on this website, Sport England has come
forward with a positive intention to help Karate England through
it's current difficulties. The Board will be working with Sport
England to explore all options available to them in the next few
days.

We will keep you informed on all developments. Please watch this
website for further updates.
