FAO: All AIWa-UK Instructors & Assistant Instructors.   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #799 of 988 |
Dear AIWa Member,

As part of the requirements for Karate Instructors, AIWa will be conducting another 'Coaching Course' to meet the needs of this legislation in regard to safe coaching and matters appertaining to Health & Safety within the Dojo environment.

As you may be aware, AIWa is in the forefront as far as getting these elements in operation, as and when required, this is no different. We run regular 1st Aid Courses, have an efficient Coaching Programme, Child Protection Policy & Officer, offer CRB Checks, can advise on aspects of Risk Assessment, plus much, much more!

If you are concerned about ANY aspect of Coaching, then please contact any one of our relevant committee members, who will be more than happy to help and advise.

It is very important that ALL Instructors, Assistant Instructors and those who are considering to be Instructors attend this forthcoming course. I would even advise that those of you who already possess Coaching Qualifications attend in order to be involved with any updates that may have occurred since your last qualification.

Please see Files Section for:
a. Instructors List.
b. Application Form.

In order for AIWa to be able to keep an up-to-date list of all Instructors and their necessary qualifications, please fill in the form 'List of Instructors'.

If you would like to attend the AIWa Coaching Course, please fill in the application form with the necessary required information and return to: Paul Elliott 6th Dan, 54 Billingshurst Road, Broadbridge Heath, Sussex. RH12 3LW.

Alternatively this may be returned 'electronically' to: semka@...

Thank you for your support.

Regards,

Gary Swift.
AIWa President.

Dear Group Head/Instructor,

Please complete and return the attached form (List of Association Instructors/Coaches) to the General Secretary Paul Elliott (contact details on form) so that we are able to monitor who are the qualified Instructors/Coaches within AIWa.

For your information AIWa runs Instructor/Coaching courses for the safety of the students and Instructors alike. The courses are designed to meet the protection standards currently in place under the Child Protection Act.

These courses (see below) have been run always on a non- profit basis since 1995.They were introduced to protect Instructors from Litigation.
With the Introduction of a "No Win, No Fee Policy" – as Solicitors request.
The need for these courses has never been greater.

Regards
