Re: Alliance of International Wado-ryu (AIWA) AIWa-News Postal Distribution to Stop!

I will collect mine by hand Sir.
As for you having to spend fortunes sending them to all and sundry, especially those foreign chaps abroad, I tell you sir it has to stop!

British Wadokai's AIWa-News to stop!
It is with great regret that the British Wadokai will no longer be able to send the AIWa-News & Date Section to the relevant AIWa Chief Instructor. The cost to produce and send these newsletters has now grown far too large to be able to be maintained by British Wadokai's funds alone. Not only does British Wadokai distribute the AIWa-News to their own members but an additional 27 newsletters a month worldwide have to be printed for AIWa membership, and some of these letters have been as much as 18 pages long, bringing the cost of both paper and inkjet overheads to unreasonable levels. The cost in postage alone has, this last year, been very hard to justify and is now barely affordable.
AIWa membership has now expanded over many countries, and with the introduction of the latest UK postage increases for `large' letters within the UK, we have now decided that we shall be unable to continue with the free distribution.
From now all AIWa-News will be sent by email (PDF) to the Chief Instructor or Group Secretary.
