Due to the implications of WKF/EKF membership by various member groups, the Alliance of International Wado-ryu (AIWa) ceased functioning at the beginning of the year as an `association'. However, as from July 2008, AIWa has re-emerged as a `Wado Central' for information and facilities for all. AIWa will no longer have `members', however, many of the previous benefits of AIWa (CRB, Information, etc.) will still be still available to clubs. AIWa will also be organising Courses and Training Sessions for the benefit of all Wado-ka.
