AIWa to move forward!

This is to inform all AIWa Members that there will be a merge with the Alliance of International Wadoryu (AIWa) with the International Wado Federation (IWF) by November 2009. Earlier this year saw AIWa-England merge its membership into the English Wado Federation, to create the largest Wado Organisation in the United Kingdom, under the English Karate Federation. This latest move will also help to create one of the largest `International' Wado organisations. The Founder of AIWa, Gary E Swift (7th Dan) Kyoshi, will now be concentrating efforts on his own organisation and syllabus, British Wadokai, and to help continue in the direction of the International Membership of France and Canada in the New Year.

For `national' organisations, who previously used the AIWa President for various grading facilities, this service can now be sourced from the English Wado Federation Committee, the International Wado Federation and the English Karate Federation (EKF). The British Wadokai Chief Instructor will be unable to assist on outside autonomous Grade Panels/Gradings as from January 2010.
