Thanks Richard for Bitts and Bobs. Yes Richard you have been placed in
an awkward position over rigs and barges and I think you've handled it
pretty well. So yet another class (Fast Class) is born! Gone are the
days when we just rolled up had some gentle banter and raced while we
goaded each other into making mistakes. The only thing I can say in
defence of the current situation is that by the very nature of a race
there will be a competetive element - and they will push the limits as
anyone that wants to win will do. Hopefully with rule book in one hand
and Tx in t'other racing will take on a different air in the future.
But at least it's in black and white now.
