Hello Krin
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, how very open and
so kind of you..!
Dorset is a great place, you would love to visit your
Sister there for certain..!
I think we all need a new challenge rather than
sitting in a rut. Hope everything works out well with
you. You sound like you are strong enough person to
deal with the most things in life...!! Good on you. :)
Looking forward to hearing your updates on here..!
Take care and have a great weekend!

Kris Kris,
Well, at least I do have a job offer waiting, plus my
sister lives in
Dorset, so I'll have family to fall back on a little
bit. Yes, I'm doing
something very bipolar by definition. But it's even
more 'Turned 40 just
after a 6-year relationship ended', and now found
someone who feels right to
me. I guess it's Carpe Diem going on for me now. I'm
not tied down to my
job, or to anyone in the U.S., so if I'm ever going to
do it, now's the
time. Plus, already was thinking a relocation to the
U.K. is a good idea
for my future. Someday, hopefully not too soon, it's
just going to be my
sister and me left as family, really. I had a
daughter when I was 19 (also
very bipolar), and placed her for adoption. We've
since reunited (since
2002... she's now about to turn 21), but although
she's my daughter by
blood, she's two other people's daughter by
upbringing, and a big sister to
two adopted brothers. In our old age, she's going to
have her own parents
to look after.
Thanks for your concern. Yes, I do realize I'm
hopping onto the Stress
Train, even if I were just moving for a new job alone.
It's a big change.
Big culture shock. Lots to do. But.... I'm pretty
well set on the way
to doing it, and it feels like the right way to go.
Hopefully I can keep my medications somehow, even if I
have to pay out of
pocket. I don't know what I'd do without them. And
I'm also seeing my
therapist/counselor again monthly between now and when
I move. I figured I
needed that. Someone who isn't family to lend a
non-biased ear. Sounds
like that's what I might have found in this group,
too.
So again, thank you.
