Re: [BAD_MD] Re: (unknown)

Dear aliwalliwooo

Bipolars who are undiagnosed and never heard of bipolar disorder,
think their behavior is "normal," at least for them. They may realise
they are "a little different" from others but don't see it in terms of
having a disorder or needing professional help to cope with the extra
strains on life that the disorder demands on them.

Your first step upon your bf making contact with you is to get him to
a competent medical practitioner to have him properly assessed. I
know, this is easier said than done but once he is on meds, his moods
will change for the better and he will thank you for it and would only
wish he found out about it earlier.

If you don't take this step, you must be prepared for the agony, pain
and frustration that will test the most patient of us.

Perhaps you can make it a deal-breaker. Be strong and give him an
ultmatum if he wants you back ~ get assessed or its over between you
both.

I know it sounds harsh but the alternative will be the waste of two
lives, not one.

Do read the LINKS and the FILES at the Yahoo! Group ~ they will inform
you about bipolar and prepare you for the supportive role you need to
play.
