I'm BP for already one year and only must say to you
to visit your psychiatrist, who will tell you what to
do.
I wish you the best,
Marko from Slovenia.

Yes, there is a "MOOD DIARY" you can keep and analyse
after some period of time.
I'm not sure where I put the links to it. Could be
here or at the links in:

If you ask me, from what you've described, its highly
probable you are bipolar.
You can also go see a counsellor experienced in these
things to get an opinion
whether you are bipolar or not; but remember, only a
psychiatrist can make a firm
diagnosis, not even a General Practitioner.
Also, monitor your sleep pattern. When in mania, most
"maniacs" sleep only 1 or 2
hours a night and very light sleep at that. I'm in the
depressive phase right now and
sleep 12 to 16 hours a day. Don't seem to have the
energy to do anything and I've put
on weight like crazy!
