Hi, I'm Az. I've had two episodes this year: from Jan and from May. Both we=
re related
to stress caused by failed relationships. In May, I had olanzapine (Zyprexa=
) added to
my carbamazapine. It made me kinda depressed - sleeping a lot and "no mood"=
to do
anything. I stopped the Zyprexa about Sept 1 and am begining to have the en=
ergy to
do stuff.
I live in Malaysia where I donate blood in return for free consultations wi=
th a
psychiatrist and for free medications. Its free for 4 months after each don=
ation
whereupon I donate again. So far, I have donated blood 27 times. The Blood =
Bank has
no qualms even though I am on medication because they use my blood parts, n=
ot my
whole blood anyway due to my age (45).
Sorry I haven't been active since May as a moderator - it was the mild depr=
ession
caused by the Zyprexa.
