Called Azuquita because his voice is sweet as Sugar, this dynamite salsa singer
has recorded more than 22 albums. Born in Panama, Azuquita has lived in Paris
and New York, and made his name recording with Cortijo Y Su Comba, Tipica 73,
Tito Puente, Azuquita Y Su Melao, Kako performing alongside salsa legends like
Celia Cruz, Ruben Blades, Los Van Van and more. Recently he turned the hit
ricky Martin song “Un, Dos, Tres Maria into a big salsa hit all over the world.
He will be accompanied by the extraordinary 14 piece Roberto Pla Latin

ALFREDO RODRIGUEZ & ACEREKO**

Back by popular demand, legendary Cuban pianist/vocalist Alfredo Rodriguez makes
his second appearance at Bar Rumba. Performing material from his recent album
Acereko on Naxos, Alfredo has recorded with greats like Fajardo Y Sus Estrellas,
Patato Valdez, Tito Puente. He was an integral member of the Joe Cuba Sextet.
Enjoy his salsa and Latin-jazz with a New York swing and an Afro-cuban beat!
