Lister Engines on glycerin??

Hi Gang,

I've been experimenting with running my old Lister 'CS' engine on
glycerin, and it does seem to work, though I have to start it on
diesel. I've been given several tanks of glycerin as a by product of
biodiesel production'

I seem to have difficulty mixing it with other fuels, alas chemistry
is not a strong point, any thoughts from anyone on running engines off
or mixing glycerin with other liquids.
