Thanks for that Steve,

I'd wondered what might be in that stuff. As it happens, the fuel
filter/system has never been apart since I had the engine, so I had
plans to dismantle it for a clean, the flexi hose to the fuel tank is
breaking up and also needs to come off anyway, so I'll go out and and
set to on it straight away.
