I think Karen lost the plot, she has many more things to worry about
other than whether the staff or students wear a George Cross badge
during the world cup. There may be a uniform code but let's get things
into perspective, the students are also supposed to respect the
teachers and the discipline system, but they don't. This is the reason
why there is no learning at Birches Head, nothing to do with a badge!!

She should be putting her efforts into getting those I.T. GNVQ courses
up and running, 'cos every one of those is worth two GCSEs, and the
kids don't even have to do any work. She should also concentrate on
pressurising HODs to ensure all course work is completed by the
teachers - and I really mean 'completed by the teachers'. When she
achieves that, the school will leap up the league tables :-)

The crux of the matter was that she identified the English flag as a
symbol of the BNP, thus insinuating that anyone flying flag is racist
or at least a member of the BNP, which is not only insulting but
downright stupid.
