Established in 1994, Bluewater Divers are the leading British Sub-Aqua Club Branch in Bolton. Through many decades of experience in British waters, our Instructors are able to offer in-depth diver training in a relaxed and laid back club environment.


Bluewater Divers meet every Wednesday evening at Ladybridge Leisure Centre, Deane, Bolton at 8pm. Our pool training sessions are run weekly from 9pm – 10pm.

Our Branch members organise many excursions to both inland & coastal dive sites around the UK and Ireland. Branch diving trips to Orkney, North Berwick, Devon, Donegal and Scotland’s west coast are regularly organised with diving to suit all levels and abilities. The Branch has access to privately owned RIBs and we regularly charter professionally operated diving vessels to conduct diving activities.


As a British Sub-Aqua Club affiliated Branch, we are able to keep the cost of diver training to a minimum, allowing all ages and abilities to take part in the sport. Our Instructors are volunteers, so there are no exuberant course fees unlike other diver training agencies.

To learn to dive with Blue Water Divers, you must join the British Sub-Aqua Club, currently £50.00 per year. This fee includes Full Insurance; Subscription to Dive, the BSAC monthly magazine; Training Pack & Literature and all the benefits of membership to the largest dive Club in the world. Our Branch membership is £80.00 Per Annum, which includes full use of our indoor pool every Wednesday evening and training equipment rental.
