Our new head office in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, is now fully operational.  Details of the new address for all NNWA correspondence and telephone numbers are listed at the end of this email bulletin.

The move out of central London marks the completion of a 12-month restructuring and rationalisation programme put in place by the Board of Trustees of the National Neighbourhood Watch Association. Relocating to offices outside the M25 area will result in significant cost savings, coupled with the reduction in head office staff that took place last year.

I want to publicly thank all of our supporters who have shown tremendous loyalty to the neighbourhood watch movement in the UK over the past year-and-a-half.  In particular on behalf of the Trustees I must thank Hertfordshire Police Chief Constable, Frank Whiteley, for making available our new office space in Hatfield.

Our thanks go also to our long-term sponsors, NNWA Premier Club members Kleeneze and Candis. And, of course, our new main sponsors, Post Office Home Insurance. Without their support, wise counsel and financial contributions, the work of the NNWA would be seriously compromised.

I must also thank Nigel and Nick for all of their hard work in ensuring that the move to Hatfield went smoothly.

Looking ahead, we have a busy programme of activity planned.  Information about future events will be posted on our new, and improved,  website, neighbourhoodwatch.net.  From the start of August we will be issuing our electronic newsletter NewsWatch  as a regular monthly digest for NNWA member associations, so please look out for that.
