A warning about lottery scams has been issued after a pensioner from Brighton was fleeced out of £70,000 in savings.
Trading standards said the OAP received a phone call telling him he must send a registration fee to Spain to claim his winnings of more than a million euros.
But he was tricked into sending fees and now faces financial hardship after the prize money never materialised.
