My elderly mother lives in Andover Road, Orpington and has recently had several frightening incidents in the middle of the night - variously someone banging on her bedroom window, ringing on the door bell and, strangely, tying up her front gate. These all happened between 2.30 and 6am. She is of sound mind and I have no reason to believe that she is imagining this.

 

She has only just told me, not wanting to worry me, and as I live half an hour away so not quickly on hand I am contacting yourselves and the local community police team etc in the hope that there will be extra vigilance.

I wondered if you have heard that anyone else has experienced anything similar?
