Just a bit of a warning in case this affects you.
It's about an estate/lettings agent in Beckenham called "Acre Estates" who seem to have done-a-runner on their customers.
They operated from a legitimate shop at 51a Beckenham Road, Beckenham, BR3 4PR, but apparently got into financial trouble recently, and instead of doing the decent thing, they just dumped on their customers (one of them is a friend of mine), and haven't been contactable for some time.
If you know anyone who is a tenant or a landlord who has a tenancy running where Acre Estates was the agent, then they should try to enquire about their deposits.
More information can be found on the online forum (click on the picture) that an ever-increasing group of affected customers have setup as an action group against Acre Estates.
They are on verge of going to the police.
