Burglary
There have been two thefts from garages in Bromley this week, valuable property taken from both, including pressure washers, children_s bikes and a quantity of alcohol. If you do use your garage for storing valuable items, then please make sure you fit adequate security locks. Please visit www.crimereduction.gov.uk for some useful information and tips on keeping your property safe. If you see anyone acting suspiciously you should contact police. We would also like information about anyone attempting to sell any of the above items.
Schools
IT equipment (projectors, laptops, computers) remains an attraction to thieves targeting schools. If you live near a school, please ring police if you see anyone acting suspiciously, again we would like information about anyone attempting to sell on IT equipment. Schools are advised to review their security arrangements, portable equipment should be secured in lockable cupboards overnight. Consider arranging for the crime prevention officer for your sector to visit your premises.
