Borough Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator
We are looking for a dynamic, creative and committed individual to lead the development and delivery of Neighbourhood Watch within Bromley. Reporting to the Head of Community Safety and working with the borough Neighbourhood Watch Executive, you will be responsible for the support of existing Neighbourhood Watch groups and the development of new groups and associated initiatives.
An excellent team player you will be skilled in organization, planning and work with individual communities. In addition to the ability to organise and prioritise a workload in order to meet tight deadlines and adapt to current work flow, you will be competent I working with community groups and members of the public.
With at least one year’s experience of working with community based interventions focusing on crime prevention, you will have a good working knowledge of voluntary sector structures, political drivers for crime prevention and working with members of the public.
This post, funded in partnership between the London Borough of Bromley and the Metropolitan Police, is offered on the basis of a rolling 12 month contract, renewable subject to continuation of funding.
