Police in Lewisham appeal to trace man

Police in Lewisham want to trace John Donahue

 

Police in Lewisham have issued a photograph of a man they want to trace in connection with an incident in Sydenham.

He is John Donahue, 29, of Dartmouth Road, Sydenham.

The incident occurred on Friday 27 March. Police were called around 03:00hrs to reports of a man stabbed in Dartmouth Road.

A man aged in his 30s was taken to a south London hospital in a critical condition.

He has since been released from hospital.

The incident is being investigated by Lewisham CID.

Det Con Kevin Hawkes said:

"We are appealing for anyone who was in the area and may have seen or heard anything suspicious to contact police.

"We also need to hear from anyone who has seen John Donahue lately, or who may have some information concerning his whereabouts.

"If you see him, I advise you do not approach him, but get in touch with police immediately."
