Any chance you could post this on your site:

Over the past two weeks a white male and a young boy in a white flat bed van have been knocking on people's houses in the Hayes and Coney Hall area asking to do some work. On one occasion the older man had a roof tile in his hand and tried to state that the roof tile had fallen from the resident's house but the owner of the house pointed out that the tile he had in his hand did not match the ones on his roof. This man is obviously a bogus builder and we are anxious to find out some more details as at present time we do not have a registration number or any names to identify this person.

Please call 0300 123 1212 if you have been approached by this man or contact your local Safer Neighbourhood team with any details you may have.
