National Neighboourhood Watch Week / NNWA   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #38 of 373 |
The notice below was posted on the National Neighbourhood Watch website (http://www.neighbourhoodwatch.net) last Friday.

Unfortunate timing it seems, as I noticed that 17th-24th June (this week) is apparently National Neighbourhood Watch Week.

Does anyone know if anything is being done in Bromley to support this?

Best Rgds, Dave

NNWA Board of Trustees agrees to compulsory winding up

At a meeting on Monday of the National Neighbourhood Watch Association Board of Trustees, members voted unanimously in favour of the following resolution:  “It has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the association cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same and accordingly that the association apply to the court for the compulsory winding up of the charity.”

Click here for a full report of the Board of Trustees meeting (PDF).

More information will appear on this website about the closure of NNWA as events progress over the coming weeks.
